Expression Kawaguchikoは、FSX株式会社が新設した事業「FSX Expression（拠点・共創事業）」の第一弾として富士山の麓にオープンした、新しいスタイルの飲食店です。店内で焼き上げるオリジナルのパン・ド・ミや、山梨県産の食材をふんだんに使った料理とともに、多彩で上質なおしぼりの体験を楽しむことができます。
LEDは、このExpression Kawaguchikoの立ち上げに際し、Expressionのロゴタイプを設計するとともに、店舗を象徴する「Expr.」アイコンや、建物の筋交をモチーフにした赤いスラッシュマークなどをデザインしました。 おもてなしの体験や料理が主役となるよう、飲食店らしい自然な佇まいを大切にしながら、適所にアイコニックな要素を加えることで、ブランドの存在を印象づけています。

Expression Kawaguchiko is a new style of restaurant opened at the foot of Mt. Fuji as the first initiative of FSX’s newly established business category, “FSX Expression (Hubs & Co-creation).” Guests can enjoy original pain de mie baked in-house and dishes made with plenty of local Yamanashi ingredients, paired with a variety of premium Oshibori.
For this launch, LED designed the Expression logotype as well as iconic elements specific to the Kawaguchiko location, including the oval “Expr.” mark and the red slash inspired by the building’s bracing. The design aims to let hospitality and dining remain the true focus, while gently adding iconic touches that leave a lasting impression of the brand.
